A group from Aspatria Dreamscheme saw anti-social behaviour as one of the main causes for what they see as the growing divide between young and old, and wanted to make a difference. The rap was been produced alongside a thought provoking DVD which includes a number of interviews with young people, victims, professionals, people with physical and learning disabilities, reformed offenders and reformed drug addicts. The interviews are edited and presented in real life and in animation sequences. Both the rap and the DVD film that goes alongside it will be made available free of charge to West Cumbrian Youth Groups/Schools and Neighbourhood teams to raise the awareness of the impact ASB has on local communities. This project was supported by Home Group, West Cumbria Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership, the West Cumbria Police Community Safety Department and media artist Adam Clarke. 'Consequences' written, performed, and produced by Callie.
I'm very impressed. The rapper hit the nail on the dot.
