This track appeared upon a bootleg titled "Wings Wild Wonders". It's authenticity is highly questionable, and it is generally considered to be an 'outfake'.

  • i don't quite understand why you don't think this is not a mccartney track? that is without a doubt mccartney's voice, i been listening to paul and his music and every style he has gone about......i know this is mccartney and yet another one of his gifted masterfull unreleased songs....what a talent this man has...honestly, statistically there is not a better musician than paul, and i am sorry to anyone who would try to argue that case. the man is a genious! the music is legendary

  • this song is a grate song i have this on the bootleg tape the beatles apple time jam that i got in the early 1980s at the la beatlefest there was some one selling bootleg tapes at the conbvention the seller of the tape said that most of the songs were non bootleg recording but also said the sound was not the best so with that i did buy it thank you for posting this post more and more beatles

  • wow need to get this remastered!

  • are coincidently reminiscent of the Maccatone. But there are several hundred other notes in this song that sound more like Michael Bolton! So there's nothing "without a doubt" about it at all.

  • Come on, guys! Of course this isn´t Paul singing! And it´s definetly not him playing bass either. It´s a pleasant tune, but this is not Wings at all.

  • Great bassline and such a great sound. I wish a better recording was availiable.

  • @ReviveRevolution I think you mean "the Reception" which was also on back to the egg. The bassline is similar but not quite the same.

  • This is the same bassline opening to "The Broadcast" on the Back to the Egg album in 1979.

  • i like paul but this one sucks

  • @phuntin2000 No doubt in my mind it is McCartney. Anyone that has followed the Beatles and Paul's band Wings knows this is without a doubt a McCartney track.

  • Amazing! This oozes 70s and is a great demonstration of Paul's incredible talent. So versatile and timeless! Wouldn't it be cool if he did some of these unknowns live today?
