Love how the Dash 9 sounds; raw, awesome, in your face power ready to light you up at 70 mph with 5,280 feet of rumbling rolling stock behind it.

I like the original SD40-2s. Dash 9s are getting annoying and boring. Railroads are not the same with Dash 9s.

What railroad was the other horn heard right at the beginning of the video--sounded like a Leslie horn?

M&B railroad...it was an older train on the other side of the tracks. I didn't see it so I don't know what kind it was.

Can anybody tell me what kind of horn this is at 1:20. I think its a K5LLA? Am I wrong?

K5LA, it's what Amtrak uses
KCSLines 3 years ago
that was not an K5LA i'm sure of it. the other railroad is a local one and they really old trains so I'm sure it's a Leslie.
