The Tories need another PM like Thatcher, someone with courage and cajones. Cameron isn't enough. Cameron's destroying the UK's military and basically making the Navy no longer a carrier based force, and only having no more than 50 tanks in the Army. He's gone mad with his Coalition.

@lucius1976 And of course we have Europes ONLY heavy lift capacity....And what does Argentina have....ONLY what we left them with nearly 30 years ago...Its 4 operational transport aircraft are 35 years old, its main attack aircraft 50 years old and its subs Diesel Electric....There is more chance of Penguins mounting a better attack than the Argies with its ancient, second hand shit..........

@lucius1976 No but what we do have is Europe's largest helicopter lift capacity...Brand new Tankers like the new Voyager....How do you think the Typhoons on the islands got there? By in flight refueling from the EU's LARGEST in flight refueling capacity....And of course we can hit targets anywhere in Argentina with Tomahawk cruise missiles from our submarines from 1000 miles away....So no need for any carriers...And the islands have a purpose built heavily defended air base

@lucius1976 There's a fully operational RAF base there now you know. Despite the current shortcomings of the RAF, it's still little compared to the pitiful state the Argentine Air Force is in. It still uses pretty much the same outdated aircraft it used during the conflict and they were brushed aside the first time round

Argentinians are just idiots. Proximity never has been a reason for ownership. The islands always has been from UK and will remain like that forever. Their corrupt dictartorship tried to cover up their stupidity and shitty goverment with "war glory" but they got their asses kicked. As simple as that. Argentinians are just a bunch of pussies that make themselves victims after starting the agression.
