This Rube Goldberg machine was made for a grade 11 Physics project. Me and a couple of my buddies worked on it. First 3 minutes are an overview of the machine, skip to 3:35 to watch the machine operating. Enjoy!

  • Yes, the reason why the marble was moving slowly was because of two panes of pexiglass put close together so the bottom right corner is tighter than the top left, that way the marble has like a 'bridge' it could run down through just wide enough for it to spin. The reason why the machine was actually made in the first place was for a physics culminating project, and I did score a perfect. It was made over a year ago now, and was worth every second spent on it. In total it probably took me 5 days

  • 3 to 5 hours after every school day, so really, at most it was 25 hours including video making and what not.

  • How did you not spurt out a fuck or shit during this video. The many hour spent perfecting it and the countless errors ensued. Wow you are stronger than me my friend because I would have been cursing during that video. lol

  • Nonononono! You turn the crank, to turn the gear, to move the stop sign, to make the boot kick the bucket, to knock the ball down the stairs and the gutter, to push the pole and hand, to roll the bolling ball into the bathtub, to catapult the diver into the pool, to drop the cage, to catch the mouse!

  • That last trail must have been soooooooo devastating!

  • What did you have to do. Probably easier than what I need to do.

  • 3:35 for the start of it :D

  • very nice... very nice... check out my Rube Goldberg's! They're not as grand, but still cool.

  • @huts90 yeah when you do the glass pane thing the marble really picks up a roll! I got a marble to get enough spin on it to shoot up a 3 foot 45 degree angled ramp!

  • This is great !! Thanks.

  • SWEET, please check out my rube goldbergs

  • The "Slow Motion" marble at the end is a classic...just fantastic...it's as though the final goal for the match in the last quarter is played in slow motion...really super...just super!!! :) thanks for posting
