Jacky Icks won le man because he was a better Pilot than Herrmann in that race.

Both cars are engineering marvels...Porsche for layout and suspension, GT40 for sheer power and looks. Both cars have magnificent racing history...what an historic race, being there would have been awesome.

The GT40 was the last at the star but the first at the ending . Icx din´t run , he did walk , he did express disapproval for unsafe star. The day before he crashed his Porsche but the seat belt did safe him

Holman -Moody wasn't a factor after 1967.

lol the porsche engineer beating the photographer was funnny!!!! lool

but gt 40's couldn't handle as good as half the gt1 class. they just had a strong engine.

that's becasue a faulty brake light led the Porsche driver to belive his brakes were gone, which caused him to drive conservitavely.
