How to remove those annoying OGA Validation Messages.
A guide to removing the Microsoft Update KB949810. This may also be used as a fix for a validation warnings as reference to illegal microsoft office installs. I do not endorse bypassing validation and while the removal of this program does not indicate that either you or users of your computer use an illegal copy of this program, if you do, please purchase the program. Even a massive corporation such as Microsoft needs money to fill their bottomless pockets. This method is not illegal in any way. You have a right to what content you allow to access your computer. You are simply uninstalling a validation check not installing copyrighted material or performing an illegal operation. If your application is not genuine then the message "This copy of Microsoft Office is not genuine." may appear.

This is the code you need to copy so as to remove KB949810.
Code: msiexec.exe /x{b2544a03-10d0-4e5e-ba69-0362ffc20d18}

If you would like more solutions for other computer based problems then please contact me. I am happy to oblige.

  • I tried what you said to do in the video, but when I do it and press enter this pops up: This action is only valid for products that are currently installed. Help please?

  • @TheEpicPies Unfortunately this is an outdated video. It has the potential to work but it depends on when your product was installed. More preventative measures have been taken to ensure users cannot bypass the constraints.

  • BTW, can you tell me what kind of cursor you use? Thanks

  • @Colosticfire Default one. If you are wondering why it is generating the "ripple" effect that is due to the recorder. I think I was using camtasia at the time. Red for left-click, blue for right.
