Using phys2d I've played around with some physics. I am curious to see how a small phisics engine could be added to a shoot'em up. Like if two enemy planes collide, they could bounce back, or when a missle hits the same thing. Also when they fall they could be tosse daround on the ground, or push a tank out of the way.
What if big explosions actually moved characters, or bullets, away?
