  • Made me want to do a tiger tank in desert camo! I'm new to airbrushing though! I'm so behind as I still use a brush, but it looks tacky. How do you go about airbrushing complicated things like helicopters n that? N do u always airbrush any model only when it's complete?

  • @ThisLadWayne I always airbrush afterwards mate, just mask things with tank you dont want to get paint on like the see through cockpit or paint the details inside the cockpit first, cover in tape and airbrush:P

  • can the blue tack be re used

  • @MrJamtastic yes

  • is that a reveal starter airbrush, if so can u do a tutorial on it. i have one but my paints turning crap. nice vid bt

  • @TankNutDave Thanks for quick reply! I'm going to try on a raf sea king chopper. I usually use those small revell paint tins for painting. Would you just tip those into the paint jar of the airbrush or water them down or? I'm a complete newbie to them lol. I have one I never used!

  • Step 1: Get a good airbrush.

    Step 2: Airbrush the pattern.

Step 3: Get a beer, you are done and it barely took 10 mins.

  • @waynedaly100 Well then dont ask me where your local model shop is lol :P

  • @TankNutDave thanks for the advice,im gonna look in to getting one over the weekend. Im from ireland not the uk lol, cheers mate

  • @waynedaly100 Cheers dude. Dont go buying the expensive guns to start with. Its not just the mastering airbrushing, its fiddly so the gun can sit around for a while maintaince and cleaning them is another skill to learn, otherwise you can screw them and you will be pissed if goes wrong. Try buying a Revell starter kit, they are about £15 to £20 in the UK. Also buy a spare air can, otherwise there is nothing more annoying of running out of as your finishing the model, I did that one too lol
