great job mark.
i played this solo in high school back in 1967...gasp.
the ending was always the hardest part for me.
i've played rock the rest of my life but never forgot this drum solo..

I want to say thank you Mark for these videos. They have helped my son tremendously in the last few months. He is a 11 year old drummer that just started last year. After watching the videos, he can now play Hell on the Wabash without missing a beat and is learning Three Camps. We are with the 27th Alabama Infantry.

In my humble opinion, the most important rudiment is the Long Roll. Many thanks, teak!

By chance would you know the story behind Tree Camps? I am having my percussion ensemble perform this and I wanted to tell the origin of this piece.
WOW....Mark, your playing is flawlessly precise....the late Frank Arsenault, and Harold Prentice, among others, would be very proud....thank you for keeping this style of rudimental drumming alive....Kindest regards, Gary Gordon, Oklahoma City....

the only problem with paradiddles is it alternates hands, but thats not a problem. I'm trying to play it with flam drags.

I guess I'm confused ... Three Camps, as it is, also basically alternates hands (RLR/RLR/RLRLRLR, etc.) & the paradiddle version I play uses the exact same accented hand pattern - no change. You can also use the same method with flam drags, using the same pattern.
Thanks!
