Did it ever occur to you that Kim Deal might have a similar situation in her personal and professional life that this song refers to... perhaps a former band she was in... where she wasn't quite allowed to flourish... which would make this cover perhaps a little poignant to her and her feelings?

I love this version, for many reasons, and that's one of them.

this is a sebadoh song. I can't even be negative. I remember saving money to buy this 7 inch. I was so proud. this music is superb.
