An interpretation of the Ainsworth Attachment Theory, this video was created for a psychology class project where we were required to make a video on a psychology theory, which was supposed to be creative, funny, different, etc. It was simply intended to pass a class project and describe this theory. It was submitted in 2008 and I have only left it up so that maybe someone else could benefit from it, whether it be educationally or simply for a laugh.

  • Oh my gosh...this video has been view over 80,000 times. Who knew the dumbest video ever made could be viewed so many times! There must be a shortage of videos on this theory! There was alot of hating on it, just laugh everyone! Everyone at my university had to take this class to graduate no matter what major and it was supposed to be stupid, that was part of the assignment! It isn't called the strange situation for nothing! But now that I'm older I've certainly learned this theory is accurate!

  • There is no reason for this. Its just piss

  • This isn't a pointless web pollution, I bet you haven't even taken a child development psychology class....They're just a demonstrating the 4 types of attachments between the parent and a child: "Secured attachment, Ambivalent attachment, Avoidant attachment, and Disoriented attachment". I think the video is pretty cute. =3

  • @tigerjames29 no secure is right. the baby will get stressed and search for their primary attachment figure, when the parent returns the infant is almost immediately comforted and goes back to playing.

  • Hmmm... Someone's got a fetish.

  • secure is wrong. baby is confident that mother will return and is almost unfazed when mother leaves.

  • he probly lost a bet

  • Who else is watching this before their development psychology exam?
