All Things Reggae Ukulele Contest Forks & Knives Beirut

What's that I hear you say? Beirut? Forks & Knives? In Reggae!?
Yes that's right.. My 2nd entry is Beirut''s Forks & Knives done Reggae Style.
I had loads of ideas for how I could work with this song but due to lack of time at the moment decided to stick with just the uke for now. At some point I'll work on a full reggae version with badn and everything just for fun. And maybe do a general version too.

This is how to do a cover- take a risk, reinterpret things. Nobody can cover Beirut accurately, or try to and do it well. However, if you try your own angle, like this, you can hardly fail. Good job!

Yeah it took a bit of getting used to but it's not too hard. It's just slap, down, chunk, down.

I like trying to figure out different strums. I want to do a soka style strum next.
