The reconstruction of Afghanistan is not just confined to roads and buildings. At the Centre of Contemporary Arts, Afghanistan (CCAA), young women are helping rebuild and progress their art heritage by producing paintings, sculptures and video art dealing with the problems faced by modern Afghan society.

  • @AfghanWomensFund -- Hello, I am located in Washington, DC. My colleague, a U.S. artist who has met with the founder of CCAA in Afghanistan, is also interested in sharing these beautiful artworks with the world. I own Develop Culture, in the U.S., and have offered to help develop an internationally traveling exhibition of the artwork created at the CCAA by these wonderfully artistic women, and would like to collaborate with you on the project.

  • This is a beautiful story. I think it is a great idea. The artwork is very moving and emotional. I would love to become a supporter of the CCAA. This extraordinary talent needs to be seen worldwide. I can help. Please let me know.
