Airedale terriers beeing.. well just airedales

Sophie and Tenna goofing around in the kitchen. Barking Sophie was a real handful and a real Airedale. She would doubt any decision and any given command. I would often go home from a training class laughing. Once in a while Sophie would go and wait by the car when she thought this obedience nonsense had lasted long enough. Tenna was a real sweet and mischievious Airedale. They are both gone now. Miss them..

how often do you have to hand strip them

Every 3-4 months or so. But you can also do it on a daily basis.

Airedales are like potato chips. You can't just have 1. I've had 3 at one time when I was single and took them everywhere with me. Sorry to hear they're gone. I know the feeling but they stay with your forever.

So very true.. My good friend Sue (also an ADT nut) said "never!" when I asked her when I would stop missing them.. Perhaps it's soon time for a new 'dale? :-)

I've had airedales all of my life, since I was 8. They're so full of character and so faithful you just can't go past them. Incredible breed.
