Located on the famous Red Road (Route 137) in Kapoho on the Big Island, this county park is a wonderful place to unwind.
The spring fed pool is volcanically heated to a balmy 90 degrees! There is an inlet from the ocean so the tropical fish can come and go as they please. The area is surrounded by palm trees, picnic tables, grass and the Pacific Ocean making it a very beautiful and uncrowded tropical retreat.
Lifeguards are usually on duty every day
Weekends it has a few more local families. They enjoy their privacy but as long as you are respectful to them it is usually okay.
