(07 Mar 2008) Ryota (Sheik) vs Kizzu (Marth)

Woot first video from my Brawl! o/
~I didn't unlocked Toon Link at the time that this was recorded~

My Notes:
I don't like to play with Marth in this game yet, as some people can see. I start to forget some Brawl concepts like the use of Air Dodge, Footstool Jump and grabbing the Edge. Is like playing thinking in "Meleefied" Brawl if you guys ask me. xD~
Same with Ryota but more intense with him.

But this doesn't mean that I dislike Marth, of course. Marth is awesome in this game. Sheik is awesome too.

Other thing that I was reading a lot in the internet: People claiming that Brawl isn't tournament viable.

Right now, we almost didn't played, or know anything deeper at Brawl. I'm pretty positive that Brawl will be good as Melee for tournament scene.

Arguing with arguments like: "the new Air Dodge concept killed the all combos in Brawl, there isn't more combos", isn't well based at all.

I do remember in Melee when people don't used Teching, DI or similar techniques to avoid the first developed combos.

Is the same thing basically. These combos are Set Ups. Like, some Chain Grabs barely works now. In the past was common to get a Fox be UpThrow'ed until 60%+/-, but now its difficult to get past 20%.

This is a evolution. And people are talking about a developed Brawl, but we doesn't have this right now. Lets wait and see before arguing.

you can cancel it in melee, its the same for any spike... just hit jump or up b when your halfway between the bottom and where he spiked you. if you mistime it, its halfway from where you hit the button and the bottom.

ryota gets ken comboed but doesn't die and instead kizzu dies..another reason as to why melee is so much better and epic than brawl..
