did you walk the whole entire hike

I walked "The Narrows" in August, 2009. The water was cold and the current was swift at times. In other places the river was wide, deep, and slow, making your hike a fascinating experience. Looking straight up the face of sheer rock makes you wonder about the forces that carved this canyon. We humans are but the latest installment in the video called "Plant Earth". It makes you wonder...

wierdo loser your one of those people who has no social life so you just hang in the wild all the time and i bet you like your dogs more than you like people..

i did the full length hike a few years ago. it was amazing.
and yes, the water is freezing. the worst part was just over halfway through, the water gets really deep and moves very fast. i got pulled into the current, and couldn't regain a grip and got stuck in a really bad scenario. thank god i had people with me, who were able to pull me out with a hiking stick. hah.

obama is better than a white motherfucker as president..
it is still not your country huh? face it..
It is a fantastic place. I have hiked down the narrows several times, and the trip is never the same. The canyon is always changing. Make sure you start before sun-up and don't loiter, if you decide to make the whole trip. Unforgettable!

Nice job of capturing the essence... I was there a few years ago in November... had to rent dry suits and waterproof backpacks... if you go be sure to check the weather... rain upstream, even 100 miles away, can really ruin your day
