this is great. I agree, I'm kind of an introvert and I find that being on your own allows a person to find who they really are without the influence of other people. I used to have huge confidence issues whenever I had to eat alone, but now I just shrug it off. Thanks for the perspective.

Go someplace on my own that I wouldn't normally do? That would be a strip club!

i spend alot of time alone by choice.. the problem is being alone in a social setting as opposed to being alone behind closed doors. it's hard to relax in a social setting when your not being social.. you can't escape the feeling that you're the odd one out.. maybe i'm just paranoid lol.
now lets talk ABOOT that accent of your's!.. lmao.. love it!

@thesolaceseeker I completely understand what you mean. I live in a very small, student populated town when I attend University, and I find it a lot more difficult to be alone here than I do back in my medium-sized home town. You're bound to bump into *someone* you at least vaguely know, and that is more intimidating. Whereas, in my home-home town, the sense of anonymity that goes along with its size allows for a bit more comforting feel of REAL alone-time ... eh, wanna fight aboot it!? ;o) :oP

I agree I like doing things on my own. Who cares why someone is at a restaurant alone. A worker should be thankful who ever patronizes their restaurant. The money is just as green and keeps that person employed. :) A great book about being a loner is "Party of One: The Loners' Manifesto," by Anneli Rufus. By the way that is funny about your town being quiet like a zombie apocalypse LOL..

I really like this video. Being alone is sometimes something that we need, even the people who can't stand being alone. It gives us a piece of mind. I hated going out on my own before this year, but this year.. I just did it and I was strangely happy :) <3 Linzi

@westernhausen It's amazing the realizations we come to when we just force ourselves to be alone sometimes... pure enlightenment! :o) <3 -Allie
