stannah lifts are generaly cheap and quite poor their nexus panel is quite un reliable and requires a dongle to reset
-
Nice chimes and a VERY deep cab. Good vid.
-
the noise is from the ram in the shaft being dry
-
the noise is the plastic shoes on the ram sheve either going through a dry spot on the guides or a tight spot between the guides, stannah does all types of lifts inc hydralic and now traction lifts, if you look on the plastic logo plate in the controll pannel there will be a 6 digit number the first three correspond to the year sold to the client eg 201*** was sold in 2001 and the last three is the number of the lift from that year. so 202001 is the first sold in 2002.

wow, I just noticed the Call and floor selection buttons look like the Evans buttons. Great video and I just love the way stannah elevators have the number pad buit into the walls when Kone and others have it sticking out making it hurt when thre are loads of people in the lift squeesing you to the side and leaning on the number pad. Great video that lift looks new wt the last 5 seconds.
It Has The Same Voice As A UK Lift
