@SPS148669 doesn't really matter. it was still an 'Arcade' system, and it was still out of reach to pretty much everyone. the system itself was 499 and carts at the time were $150-$200. cheaper than they were now, but still costly. and yeah, i bought one at the time
-
They made a Home Console version of it too. Google it.

@SPS148669 the Neo was an arcade system that was out of reach to pretty much the whole public.

@SPS148669 But the Neo geo didn't sell well. And it's too early for the 3DS to admit defeat. Nintendo never gives up.
-
But Neo Geo came along an d Pawned the Super Nintendo in graphics like Vita pawned the 3DS

I can't be the only one who remembers Columns.
Sure, it was just a Tetris ripoff, but the Nostalgia's still there.
-
LOL I had to check this commercial after I watched AVGN's new episode.
Super Nintendo is superior in any way.

@TheInnocentExile To each his own. I don't like kiddy games. But I understand why they exist. Because millions of kids play games and they need to appeal to them too. Either way, it's my opinion and I choose Genesis over SNES.

@Viktir666 Kiddy games?! During a time in the early 1990's when the biggest target market for computer games was CHILDREN?! The horror!

@dbnydnvn I was really happy with *my original* idea of "Genesisn't" in my top...
And then I read your comment.
1990
SEGA: Ha! You will never beat us, you suck!
Nintendo: Stop annoying us, you will die before us.
SEGA: Yeah, we REALLY want to see that, but that will never happen.
2000
SEGA. Hey Nintendo, can we do... you know... Games for your consoles, you know... if you have time.
Nintendo: Whatever.
