The Islam is not perfect, no one is, even not the prophet Muhammad. Looing back at history and saying he was better than him etc is always wrong and will lead to unsolveable arguements. We need to look to the past and learn from it, not get emotionally attached to it. We are supposed to accept the fact that our history is shared.
