A lot of people are struggling with the concept of going raw and following the 80/10/10 diet. Don't stress. Just take it one step at a time and make it work for you.

  • Where do you live? We have farmer's markets about three months a year maximum.

  • @nevadaxtube I live in Southern California where we're spoiled with a farmers market 6 days a week in nearby cities.

  • @unique5678 Yes, you definitely can. I would jump on some of the low fat raw vegan forums and find some women who've had successful pregnancies following 80/10/10 and ask for their best advice and input on what worked best for them, as well as talking to your doctor. :0)

  • @rawdria I also lost a lot of enamel from my teeth after 14 years of following a high fruit diet. My dental hygienist asked me if I were bulimic, the attrition was so severe on my front teeth. I attribute it to the daily consumption of lemon water upon arising followed by orange juice and/or grapefruit juice. Perhaps consuming these foods daily wouldn't be a problem if tree ripened fruit were to be consumed, but here in Canada that is not an option. See next comment.

    That's how I started, mainly fruit in the morning. Then fruit and salad my last meal before bed to prevent acidic ash and groom the alimentary canal. I noticed sinus trouble cleared up and I slept better. The sleep in eyes, phlegm in throat and bad breath subsided by morning. I then restricted cooked veg to midday until improved finances allowed me to go all raw w/minimal cravings.
