Why do you think people are pushing for cleaner sources of alternative fuel? If oil becomes unnecessary to the economy, the Middle East has nothing. Nuclear power is good but when it comes to waiting for it to create jobs just forget about it. A plant has no more that 100-150 engineers and workers-how many nuclear plants is McCain going to open 25k? Alternative energy research and innovation will create not only job in the energy market, but in universities and colleges across the country - it will reinstate us as a progressive and innovative nation. McCain policies and solutions are almost as old as he is.
