Shave for a Cure 2008 Headshaving

The final moments of Shave for a Cure 2008. Kelly Dear hosts as dozens of audience members, young and old, male and female, shave their heads to show their support for the cause.

Shave for a Cure was an emotional, powerful and uplifting live variety show produced by Calvin Park Public School and Loyalist Collegiate and Vocational Institute for four years, raising over $20,000 in total for The Canadian Cancer Society. Hosted by Kelly Dear, a national comedian and drama teacher, the show was a powerful celebration of life and a remembrance of those lost to the disease.

I LOVED LCVI!!! I shaved my head when I was in grade 7, and I don't regret it for a second! Kelly is an awesome drama teacher too and I love how she's always getting involved! Glad to see the tradition still lives on!
