Here is the second part of a little series called: Teaching You to Teach YOU Guitar. Throughout this series, I'll share little tips about how to pick a guitar, what accessories to purchase, how to read tabs, how to tune your guitar, how to change guitar strings... the basics. The idea is to empower the watcher with a few tips to get you strumming. I'll share my personal approach to playing and learning guitar. AND, hopefully, I will not bore you to tears (although, I make no promises). The second video goes through the accessories that you will need to play guitar. If you like this lesson, you might even like the music I make... I'm half of a lesbian-fronted electro anti-folk duo called Team Smile and Nod. You guessed it, I'm the lesbian half. • @itzme003 Cool. No problem then. And yup, I am indeed a lesbian... If you're curious about the music I write, listen here: getmusic.teamsmileandnod[dot]com Our 1st album is available for free. And seriously, your fingers will get used to the strings... it's hard at the beginning, but it as you keep playing, you'll soon forget about how they used to hurt. Good luck @ guitar!

  • i need strings that are not hard to press down on.. which kind?

  • @itzme003 So you insult me in the last video and then ask me a question? Niiice. Because I'm in a kind, forgiving mood, I'll answer your question. It depends on the type of guitar you have. If it's a "Classical" style guitar, you should use nylon strings... these might be easier on your fingers. If it's a regular acoustic or electric guitar, you need to use steel strings... try lights. Then suck it up and develop calluses on your fingers. It really will get easier the more you play.
