Ive just come across this video, as a Flying fox rescuer/carer and rehabber, I have to ask if those children have been vaccinated against ABL and if not why are they handling a speccy?
For others reading this post ABL is Australian Bat Lyssavirus, the 7th known starain of the rabies virus found in Australia .

I simply adore flying foxes. I really wish I could have one. They have faces like dogs but without all the racket and love being cuddled. One of their favorite foods is banana smoothies... They are simply precious.
