How to Boost PCMCIA wifi card-pcmcia wifi sinyali guclendir

PS:THE PLASTIC CARD THAT I USED IS A REGULAR CREDIT CARD.its not a special card...

with this project you ll not only boost up the signal rate but
also you ll find alot of more wifis around you.If you are sad
that you dont have a usb wifi than show in ;) I could maximum more...

find a number of 2 wifis and with that alu disc I can find
minimum 5-6 wifis,and its also attached to the notebook very
simple and good :) have fun and if it works,say a thanks ;)

Yes this is actually works but man com on , who would wana bring a laptop and that thing to starbucks ? I mean at home is fine but lolz , dont get it out the street.

if your wireless adaptor is too bad to get signal in starbucks,then dont wait and throw it to the nearest recycle bin man.

this project is a good work for people who doesnt have usb adaptor,or pci adaptor with an antenna,and wants to gain up singal(for example to share datas with a friend in another apartment).

inconglusion ofcourse no one would take it out to school,starbucks or to a public place...

yes,I now habe a zyxel usb wifi adaptor and put the usb in front of the cd case and it does the same job.there are alot of projects like this for usb adaptor in internet,just google it

doesn't help me in any way because i have a built in wireless card, but i would like to know if there is another solution for people in my situation.

there are some products that you can connect antennas for built in wireless(notebooks).

or you can buy a usb adaptor,and built an antenna for it,or modify it and connect an antenna to it :)

Foil re-directs / reflects wifi signals, basically you are making and omni directional antenna into a directional one "sorta"

If you understand how WIFI signals work, This WILL WORK done properly, some things you might TAKE NOTE OF: He is on a roof top, this makes a big difference the wifi signals he is intercepting are not going through walls on his side. And the foil is basically acting as a satellite dish (yes same principles)

I tried and got no results at all. I have the same SMC Networks card and it worked better without it. When i put the aluminum cd case it seemed to block out all activity. This is my opinion. If you want to try for yourself go ahead.
