yes i know how this young girl felt because my father passed away 7 years ago to cancer. He was the one person I could turn to when I was in trouble of any kind. Now since he's gone I have none to turn to besides my mother but its hard to talk to her sometimes. Especially whenever it has to do with money. I was unable to listen to Shaun Cassidy's songs for a long time cause I had no turntable to listen to them on and now I also found youtube.
I can relate but my problem was not alcholism ,it was alot of verbal and physical abuse from a stepfather that i that i had to take from all the time ,and from kids in school that did not like me and were mean and cruel and put me down all the time , even though i was being abused it was Shaun that made the time special for me , it was the greatest feeling in the world just knowing Shaun was in the world , Thanks Shaun for making the time special for me.
me too you re not alone i went through the same sitatution about alcolism some people ive been close to like my father in law did that too he finally stoped doing that he passed away couple of weeks ago before my birthday well what a present i ve got but when i listen to shaun songs i ve get lost in his songs they touch my heart somehow i ll be his fan forever
In a way, I can relate. Although my parents didn't pass away while I was a young teenager, there was a serious problem with alcoholism; and I did feel alone. Shaun was my first crush/idol and a good mental escape. I look back on these songs and videos with warm memories :)
hes mine idol too once a fan always a fan shaun is my inspiration i wish he knew that ive lost my mom in 1990 from a car wreck i remember me and mom always watch the hardyboys every sunday i was too about to give up on life myself it gets hard in life as long as i can see shaun face and hear his music ill be fine i love you shaun if youre reading this ill be yours forever always a fan
Oh, Sharon call me. I will email you with my cell #. I hope Shaun does see this and responds. It is amazing how one life can touch another life and make such a difference. The same is true of his brother, David Cassidy!!! Hugs--Leslie

I know how you feel. Shaun brought me back from the brink when I was ready to give up. He is an awsome person.
