Why is it so hard to think out of what you have been told your whole life? Never talk about or say things that you have no idea what it is about. Until you see & feel on your own can you have an opinion much less TELL another what is wrong.

@Ingrid0424 I don't exactly know who or what you are signaling to in your post; it should how ever be apointed to everyone and I do agree with you 100% that we have to think outside our selves! Understanding energy, the universe and the world, by understanding the nature of the spirits is what we teach in Vodou. When it comes to religion, no it's obviously is NOT GOD, and neither is life.. but as life, we still use it to the extent of REACHING GOD and UNDERSTAND GOD. Thanks for your post- bless

@androshi I don't know where you are comming from, but someone is missguiding you. I'm serious- Get your head cleansed, you need it to see clearly. And when it comes to the usage of skulls; it obviously woudn't be a good idea to use bones of unknown orgin or anything else if you don't know what you are doing you never know who the skull belonged to and what spirit is attacted to it. However there are alternatives out there and for the representation of Ghede, Resin Skulls are excellent! Bless

so you mean to tell me that the skull belongs to someone in your family?

first off,it looks like a childs skull. second off ,i dont really know of any good rituals that consist of using a skull -unless your trying to have some dominion over the spirit of the person who is dead.

you are wrong for having that skull REGARDLESS if its in your family lineage.

how can you have honor and respect when you have a real skull of a human being on your altar? that skull looks like a childs skull too-would you like someone to go to a grave and grab a skull from your family?
