Chullikkad's poems are made to sing for him only. No one can express it more than him. His voice is magnetic and hypnotic.

You are right friend. The one sung by Chullikad had lot of pain and power in it. Especially the line "Janalinapuram Jeevitham Pole Eee, Pakal Velicham kandannu pokunnathum....." The way chullikad had recited it...Oh, it pierces into the heart. Its sad Venugopal has made it like a romantic song.
Can anybody upload the one recited by Chullikad, Please....?

I still like the original recitation that was done by the poet himself (Balachandran Chullikadu). One should listen to that: it has so much of pain, nostalgia, and poeic imagery. Chullikadu's recitation is a real treat.
