Dragon Warrior III - Orochi, second battle

When you defeat the mighty dragon Orochi, it summons a Traveler's Gate and leaps inside. You chase after it, and suddenly reappear in Himiko's room, who happens to be the mayor of the village. Interesting, don't you think?

She seems to have suffered fatal injuries from "who knows where", and is being taken care of by her doctors. When you go to her side, Himiko speaks to you through telepathy.

She tells you she is Orochi, and makes a proposition to keep her secret, or you get killed. Nonetheless, you decline, and she transforms once more and attacks.

After you've defeated Orochi the first time, if you're low on HP or MP, do NOT leave the cave. Here's the reason why: once you leave the cave and re-enter it, Orochi comes back to block your path. You'd have to repeat the entire boss fight again, and it won't stop until you go through the gate. So, you should have healing items handy before entering. I wanted a bit of a challenge and didn't bother with restoring my HP or MP.

Now, onto Orochi. The boss fight is pretty much the same, except she has a little more HP than last time. Other than that, she's pretty much the same.

Keep your spirits high and stick to the golden strategy (I've listed it so many times, I believe you know what I mean). Just watch out for the slight possibility that Orochi will breathe fire twice in a row.

Once you beat Orochi, news spreads about her true identity, and the village is restored. In the morning you find a treasure chest where Orochi was. And what do you know? It's the Purple Orb, the second Orb needed on your quest.

The fight goes on. Stick around, I'll try to continue the boss fights.
