Also there is the D Link antenna adapter which is good for wireless desktops. Get the dual band N for better reception. My network is on 5.9 which is the highest. It never cuts out.

Hey i need help guys ive had this problem for like 3 months now...
My HP desktop is running on wireless... Its wireless with a plug in antena...
My downstairs desktop has the wireless router connected to it...when i look at my wireless conection it says "2wire875-internet acess"
But when i try to open up the internet it always says "Internet Explorer Cannot display webpage."
When i look at my wireless connection it says i have acess to internet but when i click on broswer it wont let me go

In my opinion, this video does overcomplicate things massively. In this day and age there's only about 2 viable ways to make a desktop computer wireless. If you're happy opening up your computer, go down the PCI route. Otherwise use USB.
While I admit the other 2 (not 3, having wireless built in already doesn't count as a method!) ways can have their uses on occasion, they're really quite specialised - I'd be very surprised if anyone who actually needed them would need to watch this video.
