I would like to have seen the video mention WHERE these cheap clothes comes from, because that is a story unto itself. Often when people donate unwanted clothes to donation centers and used clothing stores (like Goodwill), these entities turn around and sell the clothes in bulk to distributors who then sell the clothes to other countries.
No country can or should cut itself off from international trade, but when that trade is skewed in favor of the wealthy, then it's a problem.
