  • a few months ago, i rode a septa gm r7 trenton from philly to trenton, i saw the spedometer, it said 89-90 mph, the guy driving the train said we wr\ere doing 90mph. the best speed on the r7 trenton is between trenton station, and the next stop to the south @ levittown-tullytown; distance between those 2 stops: 7 miles.

  • yep youre right pass here on the R7 train alot of times.

  • Actually SEPTA GE MU's are good for 95 on paper, but every one of them I've ridden in on the Trenton line all are governed for 80. Budds and St. Louis cars are good for 85 on paper but again cut out at 80.

  • awesome video action packed

  • MEGA TONE!!! awesome vid

  • I've never seen EMUs go so fast!!! Amazing.

  • Silverliners couldn't even hit 50 mph. Looking for MUs with impressive speed, check out Arrow 3s or M6s.

  • Usually I see the SEPTA crawling, they are truly going 100 here! (that is the maximum for those trains anyway).
