'BOY,' written by British Airways Great Britons winner Prasanna Puwanarajah is a moving short film starring actor Timothy Spall and was inspired by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Prasanna won over Richard E. Grant and the panel of judges on the BA Great Britons programme with his clear, original and moving script. The film, now complete, will also be show at our pop up event Flight BA2012 and onboard BA flights in the run up to the London 2012 Games.

Almost 5 years ago I lost my boy 8 days after his 16th birthday. A football player. I stood at the side of the pitch untill the end of that season and watched his team play. I remember seeing images of him playing, like in this movie. Later his friends played matches for his remembrance. Videos of these matches are on my channel.
I thank you for this beautiful movie. You deeply touched me.

To call this film "implausible" is to miss the whole point.... I'm assuming, (hopefully!) it's because you're not a parent. This film will be bitter-sweet for many mothers and fathers who have lost a child cruelly prematurely. In future perhaps consider that before posting a needlessly negative comment #ifyoucan'tsayanythinggoodperhapssaynothing

loved this short film. I'm an avid cyclist and a father of an 8 month old boy who dreams of showing him how to ride a bike when he gets older.
@ Marcel - I'm sorry to hear about your loss and wish you all the best for 2013
