  • someone please help me to make it run on win 7 64-bit! I want to replay it so badly! =)

One of my best ever games indeed

  • I installed it on my Windows 7 (32-bit) using the regular installer and it installed and plays MOSTLY fine. Some of the AI cars (like Taurus, Skeeter, your car during scenes) drive weird (constantly riding brakes while front wheels dance back and forth) but after installing a program called winThrottle it allows your CPU to slow down to the right speed. I have the game running perfectly now.

  • I'd love to see an updated version of this game. It rocked so much!

  • Well Vigilante 8 (which was based off of Interstate 76), was re-made on the XBox 360 Arcade, but I to would love to see this game remade as well.

  • Excellent work to pull together these cutscenes from the old days. It was worth seeing Tarus' head bop again coming out of the store in Mission 1. Thanks for doing this. You are da man..

  • Your welcome and thanks

  • Anyone else think this would make an insanely great movie? Just remake these cut scenese shot-for-shot. Sam Jackson as Taurus, Angelina Jolie as Jade and Owen Wilson as Groove Champion.

  • This was one of the first games that I played with the Force Feedback Joystick. The other was MechWarrior 2. Both games were awesome. Thanks for posting.

  • i think better on the highway.. amen to that!!

  • this is how "Streets of Sim City" should have been... this is designed soooooo much better.

  • "I'm gonna find him Groove, find him and kill him!"

  • @ddemko100

This game has been made by Activision and published by Activision at Feb 28,1997.

  • when was this game made

  • I don't know a damn thing about film production, but even I am impressed with the direction/cinematography of these cutscenes. Almost every camera shot is interesting. It's on a much higher level than most games. It doesn't look like the work of an amateur - looks like they must have hired somebody who was a professional in the field.

Voice acting is great too. They really took the cutscenes seriously, unlike a lot of games that just throw them in as filler.

  • I loved playing this game, reminds me of Tarantino movies. Thanks for uploading!

  • that gal had some real nice polygons! and no mouth!
