  • @johnwaynesfoot Thank you for the info. I always assumed it was Cale who wrote the lyrics, for some reason.

  • @neonatalpenguin I was just reading an interview, titled "Ambiguity, Yams & Ju-Ju Spacejazz," where Eno said that he lifted the words from an instructional book on Spanish.

BE: I thought, this is like an amazing poem, and what I read into it was: Two people who were probably lovers but who were also terrorists arrange to bomb a bus - "leave the parcel on the top deck." The is the last time they were talking about it before they were gonna do it, the next day.

  • Any idea what this song's about? Sounds like the plot to some spy novel from the 40s.

  • @simonsaintgilles Gee lucky for that, so wonder I can't get a glass of water to my lips...

  • I suppose conceptually the cover's interesting because there's no "right way up". But, yeah, unlike the song, it does nothing for me.

  • Wrong Way Up is a very fine album...hauntingly beautiful

  • these are two brilliant artists, but this cover looks like something some 9th grader made in microsoft paint

  • @patmos789
