You can use XTRA virgin olive oil, no it does not clog
YOU CAN mix that with an ANTI-BACTERIAL SOAP *DISHWASHERSOAP*
YOu can use dawn, or Gain - some people use alcohol too but they dry out your brushes, when you dry them DO NOT DRY THE BRUSHES ON THE SIDE CAUSE BECAUSE WATER CAN STILL FIND ITS WAY IN RUINING THE GLUE & THE BRUSH hang them upside down so bacterias don't find their way back into your brushes again BUY A *BRUSH GUARD* PUT IT IN A DRY GLASS, LET THEM DRY THEN TADA! :)

Isn't it crazy how much shampoo is needed for one brush!? I always think that when I'm cleaning!

is it me or is your faucet weird?
like the water doesnt come out of the right hole? hahah :D
oh & you should really close the faucet while your cleaning them that was a waste of waterr.
