  • Circulating fresh air does NOT address or collect the toxic lead fumes. Unless you have a commercial negative air filter sucking and containing those fumes out of the room, invisible vapors are all around this worker, in the room, and beyond. It is frightening that the "PRO" is not telling people how dangerous 1000 degree heat guns and old paint are! EPA has outlawed them for any contractors in pre-1978 buildings with kids and pregnant women. Read up, dude. on epa website/lead/rrp

  • @cbrooksecostrip You & others like you use scare tactics to market your goods. There is no invisible monster around the worker. Moving fresh air in from outside across worker & through exhaust fan stack in roof creates a fresh air shower. I left your original comment hawking your wares to show importance of fresh air.

As far as EPA, they continue to "jump the shark" then go back & make corrections to cover their mistakes.

By the way, water is dangerous if used wrong, you DROWN!

  • High heat guns on old lead paint makes toxic lead fumes! What's collecting them? Low heat infrared doesn't do that.

  • True, lead paint vaporizes at 1000+ and 600 is not going to do that. BUT, how many people use the lower temperature on their heat gun when they know the stripping goes faster with it on high? Plus 400 degree eco-strip infrared paint remover heats a shoebox -size section in 20-60 seconds. That's faster and safer.

  • 1:22 not do that, dangarous.

  • Heat guns are fine regarding lead paint removal as long as you keep the temp below 600 degrees.
