The Volante "Checker" Freeride Wheels have landed at the MuirSkate.com HQ in San Diego. We took them out for a few test runs at a local favorite and found that they leave very nice (bright white) 'thane lines. The Volantes come in at 68mm in diameter and 82a hardness.
Seth is riding them on a Comet Shred 38 with Caliber Trucks.
Scott is riding them on a Muir x Landyachtz Twelve Two Five with Caliber Trucks.
The lovely song you're hearing is "Maximalist" by Baths.

@111even111 We do a lot of crazy things to test the wheels. This happens to be one of the less crazy of those things.

@shoemaker259 just about an 1/8". I say "just about" 'cause it's redrilled to the edge of the kicks and has ~.25" on the outer holes to line it up. WAIT, I've already said too much!

@LoadedGrizzlies - Yep, 10". 44 Cals will help you feel a little more stable.
@Drewlovesvids - Similar slide to CS Freerides, not so much to the OS.
