  • Now I with you message when a confess Christian is not living according to God's standards but has pleasure in sin, then a prophet should warn that Christian with rebuke.

  • You immediately have here both the audience of the prophecy and its purpose. The audience is the church, the body of the believers present in the meeting1. The purpose of prophecy is to edify, exhort and comfort the audience, the body of the believers. In a church meeting therefore prophecy - i.e. messages from God brought forth from the believers for the edification, exhortation and comfort of the church – was present in the New Testament times and should normally be present today too.

  • 1 Corinthians 14:3-4

"But one who prophesies speaks to men for edification and exhortation and comfort. …… he who prophesies edifies the church.”

  • 1. Prophecy in 1 Corinthians 14: definition.

Prophecy according to 1 Corinthians 12, 14, is the manifestation of the holy spirit through which God gives a message directed to the body of the believers present in the meeting and with purpose their edification, exhortation and comfort. As 1 Corinthians 14:3-4 says:

  • john1:1 in the begining was the( word)and the (word)was with god.and the (word)was( god).1:2the same was in the begining with god.1:3all things were made by him:without him was not anything made.1:14and the word was made flesh and dwelt among us(and we behelt the glory).the glory of the (only begotten of the father)full of grace and truth.------to not understand in the begining ,bfore all things only god and the word existed.and yah_shua.was definnetly the the word that became flesh.

  • John 17:20-21 I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.

John 1:1-4 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning.Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4In him was life, and that life was the light of men.

  • Jesus never once claimed to be God. In fact, that's the one of the lies that the religious leaders of his time used against him to get him killed. Read Jesus' words carefully, he never claimd to be the almighty God.

  • 2 Corinth.5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Read that chapter. His work not our self righteous acks in the flesh to get favor from God. Eph. 2:8 If this makes you feel good it is your flesh not the fact that you know God.

  • Praise God Brother , this is the kind of truth I like to hear . You don't get a lot of this at chuch now days.. alotta talk about prosperity. Not much on how to inherit the kindom..people we will see trial and yes tribulation if we don't pull together and wake up! obay his commandments. Folks we need to wake up and get the full picture.. God is on the way.. and let not no man be decieved by false doctrine... Brother ..I respect you God bless.

  • A-men...........the time is near
