Pop star Britney Spears' comeback has not only delighted her American fans, but it seems the career revival also made waves in Germany. The "Womanizer" hitmaker has landed herself a Bambi Award for her stunning comeback.
Spears, 26, has been named Best International Pop Star by the prominent German awards for being an inspiration after bouncing back successfully following a series of highly publicized breakdowns.
The prize jury said, "The pop princess is back on her throne, better than ever before."
"The one-time teen idol has become a mature young woman who overcame the greatest crisis of her life with flying colors. Britney Spears achieved her triumph thanks to her iron discipline, her unique musical talent and her millions of fans, who remained loyal to the star even in her darkest hours."
