I recommend to download the latest version of BrawlBox at the official forum. The one in the .rar is probably outdated.

FAQ

Q: My CSPs don't show up in the Select Screen?
A: Are you using a CSS? Some CSSs don't work for some reason (personal experience)

Q: I get an error in BrawlBox when trying to save. Why?
A: Restart BrawlBox and add your files again. If the problem still persists, single out which file is making the error and either Google the error or ask me.

Q: My CSPs background is pink! Why?
A: You must have followed a CUPAsh tutorial that says to use magenta then implemented it in using BrawlBox. Or you got a character texture with a CSP in the .rar file that had magenta in it. Just run it through GIMP and erase all magenta.

Q: How do you get textures?
A: This isn't a tutorial for getting textures.

in the beginning of your video (which really helped me, thank u) u have a folder called "al" and a bin file in it. how do u get that?

@backpackguy20 that is the picture that is taken while actually playing the game. when you take a pic in the game (pause and then click take pic) and save it to your sd card, it makes the folder al and the bin file inside is the pic.

the result screen and in-game portrite works but the CSP doesnt work (not as in freezing) its just the original CSP

If you make a second common5_en what do you name it? Im making a portrite for terra from KH... do I just name it common5terra? would that work o.o

So someone, plz tell me what is info.pac ? casue he didnt include it and does this mean it has to be info.pac in order to work?

However when I looked at his readme he wrote

Place your info.pac in this folder

- Open up your info.pac in Brawlbox 0.62 (don't use later versions)

- Expand MiscData[40]

- Replace the MenSelchrChrNmS.461and the MenSelchrMark.19 with the ones included

- If you have more info.pac files (such as info_training.pac, info_homerun.pac etc), then do the same as above with

files

- If your game freezes, replace the MiscData[160] in your info.pac file(s) with the one included to reduce file space

I opened MenSelhrrfaceB010 which he included i checked and there is shadow pics so i thought i had no need to worry bcause he did the work so I saved on root of sd card/private/wii/app/rsbe/pf/m­enu/common/char_bust_tex. I also saved Inface011-016 to root of sd card/private/wii/app/rsbe/pf/i­nfo/portraite. I checked and again there is shadow head portrait same heightby width as well as Menselhrface and on common5 files one or whatever.

So I dont know y it didnt work...

My CSP doesnt show up in character selection screen. Only when I put my cursor over DK and when I press. I follow every instruction i followed.The character I supposed to replace is shadow over DK made by SiLeNtDo0m for the final version. First I open common 5 using Brawlbox, expand sc_selcharacter_en then I expand miscdata 1 which it was on your index then i expand on texture and i replaced for each of the image for the .bress11,12,13,14,15,16 then i save and replaced the file on systemfolder
