  • This clip was taken on one of the first take off that day (6:00 AM) so... no termals at all :-) It was just training flight with no regular pattern and with landing to "limited area" (landing across the runway).Release altitude was about 300 meters, then right 270° turn across the airfield, turning over the landing place and.. landing just over there.

  • There is different. You can release in 300 -400 meters, when is stong wind you can lift to 500 meters. You can catch lift on first attempt, when is wonderful weather, or third attempt, when is worse weather.

  • What altitude are you at when releasing and how long do you have to find lift before entering the landing pattern?
