Swedish child welfare has the last couple of decades made international headlines through its dissolution of the family unit. This is a 20-minute address by Daniel Hammarberg on the state of child welfare today, covering among other things the Domenic Johansson case and the tightening grip the state has taken on home-schooling.

I feel that connecting the soviet union and socialism with this is not appropriate or nessessary. I believe that this is corruption where the caretakers benefit economically and that this is based on a capitalism going wrong. That is why there is no change when governments change. @martinvaxjo Those big bad capitalists go snatch children from people so they have to pay for them, of course. This situation with the child welfare corruption is due to there being government funds available for taking care of children. These government workers (and of course connected privately owned orphanages) make a living from taking people's children and getting paid for it.

Thank goodness for blogs, youtube, and other forms of media that can get the word out about how corrupt Sweden's government is. I've been following the Johannson case for two years and I get more angry as I see the the criminals who pass for governing authority rip this poor family apart. Your comments about socialism and Marxism were spot on, since history clearly points out to anyone who cares to read it that part of their agenda is to destroy the family and make everyone government dependent.

@CRTV1982 No. It can happen in any corrupt system. Capitalism can lead to mafia rule and corruption of the state too. It is up to us all as a united community to guard our state, our laws, our system and our democracy. I do it through Intelligent Union. What do you do?

@slackey68 Sometimes people have to understand that all of life's problems can not be solved by government. One of the biggest misconceptions that most have fallen under is that it is the government's job to do everything from provide people with a living to making people raise their kids in a way that is considered "popular", "normal", "healthy", or what ever the know-it-alls want to call it.

@slackey68 But the corruption is envitable when you give an entity too much power. Too many times I will hear "the corporates have too much power" from individuals who then without batting an eye will turn around and demand the government be given even more power. None of them understand that the government has the LEGAL AUTHORITY to use DEADLY FORCE to accomplish its objectives and that is a power that NO other entity has thus the government's objectives have to be limited.

@martinvaxjo Moreover, do you understand that these entities recieving the funding are NOT recieving it from PRIVATE institutions but rather government institutions. If you do not get it then you do not have an understanding of what capitalism or socialism is and you need to start doing your research until you get a clue.

@martinvaxjo Excuse me? This is State produced though. It is in NO way based on the free market. What individual or corporation has the LEGAL ability to decide how, when, and if someone else's child is removed from them? There has NEVER been such a case. The government has taken it upon themselves to decide how, when, and if they can take a parent's children away from them, do you understand why this can ONLY happen under socialism?
