It's funny as hell that some people listen to pure crappy bullshits and half ass bands like Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet For My Valentine, Within Temptation, Dream Theater and all that shit and come here comment under the video of an extreme music band, Where do you find the guts to check out an Experimental band like Swans and where do you find your crappy words to comment here ? The eighties were, without doubt, the worst decade for music ever, it truly was a shit decade. swans were one of the few groups, who challenged this coiffeured, corporate muzak schlock scene head on. they were totally original and artistically uncompromising, their music still retains a power. I remember this tour, nobody i spoke to after seeing them live could describe in terms relating to any other music they had heard before, their music was raw, tender, honest and deeply human.
