im not a big fan of war or anything that leads to it. the death penalty is discriminatory (a guilty black person is 4 times more likely to get it, a guilty poor person is 6 times more likely to get it). its also a process that cannot be reversed. its a form of discrimination.

btw i dont support the bombing and killing of innocent people...guilty or innocent. because i dont support killing

I don't care how many people, judge, jury, and lawyers, I don't care how many people. They could all be be wrong.

But you have to remember, when you ask who are you to decide it is not just one person deciding, it is all the jury, the judge, the attorney general, and then the governor. And another thing is, when your asking who are you to decide, you have to remember that is almost similar to asking who is the military to decide where to drops bombs that kill many more innocent people than the death penalty, or who is the military to carry out drone attacks or drop nuclear missiles.

Another thing there will always be uncertainty just as long as there are liers, but in Florida they recently signed a bill where the death penalty could only be used under strict circumstances of DNA/Biological evidence, a recorded confession, or a video linking the suspect to the crime, and it has been enacted for 4 years and not one innocent person has been executed in that state and the state of Maryland is about to enact the same law as Florida.

Again with barbaric your using it in the wrong sense because recently a murderer/rapist in my state was sentenced to life in prison which he should of received death, but in the prison he murdered a correction's officer stabbing him 12 times and all of this could have been avoided if he was put to death. THAT IS BARBARIC, and the only way this could of been avoided is by execution not rehabilitaition and he is now finally going to be executed.

@ajbren92 I was referencing a study that went by state by state in the U.S, not country by country. There is never 100 percent certaintity that you are "punishing " the true criminal. Many (mainly minorities) have been wrongly murdered by the state in the U.S. because of this. So yes, I would say, killing people who did nothing wrong is 100% BARBARIC.

@ajbren92 so we'll start killing people because it's too crowded? you can't always know if someone is 100% guilty. I'm also sure all these corrupted governments could and would use this law for their own interest.
