  • :-) I actually found this because I'm putting together a curriculum for churches on Nicaraguan history and politics... and was searching for online resources.

Our hope is that church short-term mission trip goers think critically about what they're walking in to and are very humble and aware of the large U.S. role in Nicaragua's current economically precarious position.

If you feel moved to make a video about that, I'd love to circulate it! :-) (It can be in English!)

  • oh wow, awesome, for what denomination is the mission? A girl in my group has a brother on a mission at the moment, in the impoverished places in nicaragua, where they are addicted to sniffing glue in order to keep away their hunger pains.

Im working on a project right now, but in the future i may be able to make a video about that.

  • whats the point of this video

  • Is a joke,a prank, spanish conquistadores going into Nicaragua. I hope will help for more people(turists) to go and visit Nicaragua,we have great lakes, beautiful land, beaches are perfect for surfing and the people is friendly. Almost forgot, we have beautiful women just like Venezuela and Brasil. I know what I am saying. I am 100% Nicoya.!!!!

  • N1caragua

  • ;-)

  • My friend, I know you meant well in doing this, but you must hear the truth; this is awful and borderline offensive. I'm Nicaraguan and this video trivializes our history and culture. If you want to create something about Nicaragua, do the research and use English if Spanish is too hard for you. Also, don't associate Mexican symbols (stick figure w/Mariachi hat) or music with Nicaragua. Get it right next time because this video only propagates people's ignorance about my homeland.

  • el castellano esta mal escrito, y los nicaraguenses no dicen tu.

  • haha thanks i'm glad you liked it, i spent a decent amount of time on it lol, :)
