The most amazing thing is that only 4 voice actors performed all of the roles.
Dallas McKennon -Archie, Mr. Weatherbee, Irwin, Hans, Captain, Sam, Sluggo, Chief, Kayo, Alf, The Fire Chief
Howard Morris- Jughead, Big Moose, Dilton, Fritz, Junior, Moon Mullins, Chief's son, Pat Patton
John Erwin- Reggie, Gaylord, Inspector, Dick Tracy, Smokey Stover, Alvin, Sandy
Jane Webb- Betty, Veronica, Miss Grundy, Broom Hilda, Momma, Tess, Moon Maid, Nancy, Emmy Lou, Taffy

This was second and last time that a "Dick Tracy"
tv cartoons series was seen. It was a little more faithful to the Chet Gould
comic strips..Although I did enjoy The UPA "DC's".

I remember this show in syndication (circa 1977). However, if memory serves, the "theme" music was different. Perhaps this is the original "theme". Does anybody remember a different "theme song" for this show ?

The comic strips adapted for the show were Chester Gould's "Dick Tracy" (probably the best of the bunch); John Dirks' "The Captain and the Kids" [that was a result of the original artist, Rudolph Dirks, abandoning "The Katzenjammer Kids"-and his original syndicate, King Features- in 1914 to create a similar comic strip for United Features- that ended in 1979]; Marty Links' "Emmy Lou"; Ernie Bushmiller's "Nancy", Howard Post's "The Dropouts", Ferd Johnson's "Moon Mullins"...

...Bill Holman's "Smokey Stover", and Russell Myers' "Broom-Hilda". Only "Dick Tracy", "The Captain and the Kids", "Nancy", and "Broom-Hilda" continue to appear in newspapers these days...

Only one season of this series was produced (1971-'72), and was repeated the following season. Then, after a season of "EVERYTHING'S ARCHIE", CBS executive Fred Siverman made the mistake of ordering a "U.S. OF ARCHIE" series in 1974- too "educational" for most kids, and that just about killed the "Archie" franchise on the network.

cartoon network or boomerang should start playing these old cartoons that havent been on the air in decades
-
Most of these cartoons were antiques before these show even aired.
And some there are little record of like the cavemen and that one teenaged girl, Emmy Lou?

Eu me lembro desta série. A turma do Archie apresentando avanturas de personagens de HQ como Dick Tracy e os Sobrinhos do Capitão. Bem simpática.
I remember this series. Archie's gang presenting adventures of comics characters such as Dick Tracy and The Katzenjammer Kids. Very nice.
What year did this cartoon air on TV?

A couple of things: Who sings this? Ron Dante perhaps?
Has anyone ever seen the intro posted?
How about the intro to The Archie Comedy Hour? Here Comes the Grump? The Roman Holidays? Josie and the Pussycats? The Groovie Goolies and Sabrina the Teenage Witch? (if not, mabye the Groovie Goolies Show?)

The intro is available. I don't have any of the others. I think that Ron does sing it.
